Shaped by hand and slip-cast from recycled clay, this ceramic wall sconce brings warm, ambient light to spaces through its organic, shell-like curve. Each piece is made from reclaimed clay, transformed into liquid form before being poured into moulds, then individually made in a Melbourne workshop. The shell-like curve of the shade softens the light passing through it, casting a gentle, glowing wash rather than a direct beam, the glaze holding warmth and shadow in every fold of the curve.
Because each sconce is crafted by hand, subtle variations in glaze and silhouette naturally emerge making every piece uniquely yours.
