The Louvred LED Bollard Light is a ground mounted post in powder coated aluminium, finished with a flat cap and a clear head section. Inside that head a stack of angled louvre blades rings the emitter, so light leaving the fitting is broken into horizontal layers rather than escaping as one open glare source. From a standing eye line the blades screen the emitter almost completely, and what registers is the banded head rather than a bright point.
Those blades do the practical work of pushing output downward and outward onto the ground plane, which keeps spill low and leaves surrounding planting dark. Below the head the post is a plain unbroken cylinder, and it surface mounts onto paving, concrete or a prepared footing with the cable entering through the base. The combination of low glare and a controlled throw suits car parks, shared paths, commercial forecourts and long driveway runs, where a fitting has to mark a route without dazzling anyone walking or driving toward it.
