The Mediterranean Marea Wall Light explores the sculptural simplicity of the circle through a layered composition of concentric iron forms. As a decorative wall object when unlit, the fixture reads as a piece of abstract wall art. Once illuminated, it transforms, revealing depth, shadow and a soft interplay of light across its tonal surface.

The handcrafted Marea finish draws on the colours and movement of the Mediterranean, achieved through a traditional burnishing technique in which the iron is hand-finished layer by layer to build a rich tonal gradient running from warm coppery hues through to cooler, sea-inspired tones. This artisanal process means each piece carries its own unique visual character. Part of the light is directed toward the rear surface for soft indirect background illumination, while the remainder projects forward toward the centre of the fixture, producing a focused accent that enhances the layered geometry.
