The Mid Century Layered Pendant draws on Danish design from the early twentieth century that layered curved shades. Featuring a wide outer dome, finished in finely textured black and warm aged brass on the interior. Two nested opal matte glass diffusers suspended beneath the dome to soften the light source, producing a glare-free glow.
The fixture is suspended from a slim tapered brass stem that widens gracefully into the shade, with a matching round brass canopy at the ceiling. The stem is adjustable across a range of configurations to accommodate different ceiling heights and room scales. The contrast between the dark dome and the luminous glass diffusers gives the pendant a layered visual quality whether lit or unlit as much an object of considered design as a functional light source. Well suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, and living spaces where a pendant carries both presence and restraint.
