A solid metal housing carries a frosted diffuser strip across its front, and a perforated stainless steel plate runs back from it, so the fitting lies flat on the masonry and the coping tile is laid directly over the plate. Once the tile is set, only the narrow glowing strip remains visible beneath the overhang.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLight is thrown outward from beneath the cap of the wall and falls across the steps, paving or planting in front of it, so the source stays hidden and glare stays out of the eye line.
