The Round Outdoor Step or Wall Light is a shallow disc that sits close to the wall, its lower half hollowed into a soft scoop with a single horizontal slot cut across the centre. The curve of the disc softens the edge against flat masonry, and the recess holds the emitter well back from the opening.
The cover is powder coated aluminium fixed over a moulded mounting base, with a clear diffuser closing the aperture against rain and dust. Because the source sits inside the scoop, what the eye picks up is the lit surface below rather than the fitting itself, which works for stair risers, low garden walls, pool surrounds and paths where a soft wash is wanted at ankle height. The round face also settles against curved rendering, stacked stone and other surfaces where a squared fitting would fight the lines around it.
