This 36 inch Extension Rod is recommended when ceiling heights are 3.5m or greater. Compatible with Kirra DC fans, please contact our friendly customer service team for more information.

According to Australian safety standards, the ceiling fan blades should be positioned at least 210 cm (2.1m) from the floor. Increasing the space above the ceiling fan will generally enhance its performance. For standard ceiling heights within the range 2.4m to 2.8m, the downrod included with the fan should suffice. If the ceiling is below 2.4m or between 2.9 to 3.7m, then a 90cm downrod may be necessary. A 180cm downrod is recommended for very high ceilings (3.9m and higher), although it may need to be tailored to the required length. The optimal distance between the floor and fan blades for best performance is between 210 cm and 270 cm.

If your item displays a lead time of up to 18 weeks, it is a special item that will be carefully sourced to order from our international designers. Made-to-Order Lead Time - Up to 16 Weeks
If your item displays a made-to-order lead time, these designs are carefully handmade or hand-assembled by our Artisan designers. The lead time of a pre-order design may range between 2-16 weeks, this includes the accumulative time it takes for your order to be processed and for the item to be handmade and/or assembled by the artisan.

If your item displays a pre-order lead time, it is currently out of stock. The month displayed is an approximate date of arrival to our Australian distributor. Please note this date of arrival, is in addition to the delivery time. The lead time will be updated when the item has returned to stock.
