Showroom Sales and Lighting Consultant

What will you be doing on a daily basis?

  • Maintain showroom merchandising and presentation
  • Read and understand architectural and lighting plans
  • Selecting and specifying product and placement solutions that fit the customer brief
  • Prepare lighting layouts and proposals for clients
  • Stay up to date with education within role and ongoing software updates
  • :earning and becoming an expert within lighting design and technical advice
  • Manages customer and supplier relationships and projects
  • Administers quotes and invoices
  • Collaborate with other departments and positions for project and service delivery
  • Conducts instore, online and on-site consultsations

What do you need to be successful?

  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • At least 1-3 years experience in lighting, furniture or high end goods
  • Experience or knowledge in interior design
  • Ability to read and interpret house plans
  • Be professionally presented, outgoing and confident
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Be responsive, punctual and organised
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job
  • A strong attention to detail, using systems competently, preparing quotes and orders
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Google Suite and e-commerce platforms is highly desirable
  • The ability to work in a team environment and support the team towards a common goal

Ecommerce Administrator

What will you be doing on a daily basis?

  • General ad hoc administrative tasks as required
  • Support the Marketing team in the planning and execution of promotional campaigns
  • Review, Arrange and Coordinate maintenance of Shopify, Dear and additional Plug-in’s updates and auditing.
  • Create compelling and highly-engaging product descriptions and online copy.
  • Resolves issues concerning product or system data effectively and efficiently
  • Support Customer Service functions to troubleshoot eCommerce queries and escalate issues where required and notify marketing team of proposed solutions
  • Liaise with external companies and developers to improve website functionalities
  • Work alongside Opperations, Trade Loyalty and CS team to create a smooth customer online experience
  • Any other reasonable duties as required (associated with Marketing, Opperations & Administration)

What do you need to be successful?

  • Experience using Shopify
  • Experience of Dear Inventory Systems
  • Tech Savvy - Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (excel), Shopify, Parcel Send & DEAR Inventory Systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • A self-starter with exceptional time management skills
  • Demonstrated organisational ability, and able to manage workload successfully during busy periods
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, helpful, and hands on with the willingness to go above and beyond
  • Availability from Monday to Friday (flexible days and hours for the right candidate)

Customer Service Officer

What will you be doing on a daily basis?

  • Responding to and managing general customer queries and phone order enquires
  • Liaising with suppliers to follow-up on purchase orders, order issues, questions about products and out of stock products
  • Following up on customer orders and responding to general sales questions
  • Assisting with sales for specific lighting jobs, recommending types of lights and similar items/options for out-of-stock goods
  • Processing job quotes, pricing discounts and price adjustments
  • Assisting our trade department with quoting
  • Managing returns warranties processing
  • Managing post-sale customer service, product issues, returns and replacements.

What do you need to be successful?

  • You love making someone’s day with great service
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make calculated and punctual decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with intuitive listening skills
  • Demonstrated organisational ability, and able to manage workload successfully during busy periods
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Google Suite and e-commerce platforms is highly desirable
  • Positive, flexible, go-getter attitude with the willingness to go above and beyond
  • A genuine interest in the arts and/or design will see you gel in this creative space.
  • Availability from Monday to Friday (flexibility in hours for the right candidate)
