Round Alabaster Step Light | Note
Designed in Sydney, the Round Alabaster Step Light is a modern reimagining of traditional path and step light. Each fitting features a solid block of natural Alabaster that serves as a sculptural diffuser, casting a warm, rhythmic glow that highlights the stone's organic veining. As an introductory piece in a series celebrating life’s intricate details, this light is inspired by the nostalgic game of hide-and-seek—evoking the quiet joy of discovering a hidden note left for a loved one. This "marker" light elegantly balances the raw beauty of Alabaster with the refined strength of Brass, creating a sophisticated material contrast.
A Note on Natural Alabaster: As a genuine natural stone, every piece of Alabaster is unique. Significant variations in colour, veining, and translucency are expected and celebrated as a mark of authenticity. Please refer to our comparison image to see the range of finishes possible from a single stone. If your project requires a specific tone, please contact us before ordering so we can assist in selecting the perfect piece for you.

Please note: Each fitting is individually handmade and formed by ADesignStudio in Sydney. Variations in colour intensity, texture and the natural pattern are an inherent characteristic of the natural stone. These individual qualities are not imperfections — they are what make each piece truly one of a kind.
