Designed and handcrafted in Sydney, the Crackle Glass Sphere Pendant | Eon range perfectly captures the anatomy of light. The light source sits in a metal fitting that houses itself in an orb of ADesignStudio’s crackle glass. When illuminated, light refracts through the crackle glass, resulting in a dappled glow that projects shard-like visuals on nearby surfaces. With evolved LED technology, these pendants create a warm luminance with the addition of dimmable control options.
Please note: variations are a natural occurrence in hand-blown glass. This fitting requires a remote driver for installation. Explore the metal options in detail with the Finish Guide.

Variations in colour intensity, texture and the natural crackle pattern are an inherent characteristic of the hand blown glass process. These individual qualities are not imperfections — they are what make each piece truly one of a kind.

ADesignStudio is a Sydney-based lighting design practice built on the idea that lighting is both a technical discipline and an expressive one. The work centres on hand-blown crackled glass — a material that captures and diffuses LED light in ways that feel atmospheric rather than mechanical. Every piece is designed to consider not just the fitting itself, but the quality of light it casts into a space.
The spotlight explores the thinking behind the studio’s approach:
The studio’s current focus spans new applications for hand-blown glass, modular systems and connected control for architectural, hospitality and residential projects.
