Additional Information | Understanding Exterior Lighting |
For Australian exteriors, we generally recommend selecting lighting with an IP44 rating or higher. However, specific circumstances may allow for exceptions, and in some cases, products with lower IP ratings can still be suitable.
To ensure the longevity and performance of your lighting, we suggest reviewing our Coastal Grade Blog and Guide to Exterior Lighting Blog. These resources can help you choose materials designed for coastal or harsh environments, where some fittings may be more vulnerable to wear. Verifying the IP rating and material suitability of your chosen product is essential to avoid potential issues or warranty claims.
Before purchasing we strongly recommend consulting your electrician to confirm the selected product meets your requirements. Our friendly customer service team is also available to provide guidance and support for your specific needs.
