Organic Ceramic Pendant Light
The Organic Ceramic Pendant Light is a two-shade hanging fixture hand-formed from ceramic, suspending a pair of asymmetric arched shades from a single elongated ceramic ceiling plate via slender brass rods. Each shade carries the same stepped, notched lower form and raw, irregular surface texture characteristic of hand-formed ceramic work, the two pieces hanging in close proximity to form a cohesive cluster that reads as a single sculptural mass from a distance. Light emits downward through the open base of each shade, casting a focused pool beneath while leaving the raw ceramic body as the dominant visual element.
The fixture suits long dining tables, kitchen islands, and open-plan living spaces where a horizontal cluster of pendants works better than a single centrepiece. The brass suspension system adds a refined contrast to the warm white ceramic without drawing attention away from the form. The adjustable drop allows the fixture to be set appropriately for ceiling height and intended use.
