Carst Linear Pendant
The Carst Linear Pendant is a unique fitting created using innovative casting techniques. Handcrafted by artisans in Melbourne, Australia, the fitting begins as a hand-carved length of concrete. A primary mould is taken from the carved original, which is then cast in solid aluminium. This precise metalworking process captures every subtle ridge and raw texture of the original concrete, producing a distinct Brutalist-style linear light.
Designed for continuous overhead illumination, this Australian-made linear pendant provides wide task lighting across kitchen islands, dining tables, and commercial workspaces. The cast aluminium construction provides high structural durability while maintaining the intricate surface details of the initial sculptured design.
