The Koura is the Maori name for the small freshwater shrimps found in New Zealand’s rivers. They curl up in this shape. This shape is mirrored again in the similar woven baskets used to catch them.

David Trubridge designs not only create an ambient, rich atmosphere, evoking intimacy and warmth within a space but are also constructed with sustainably sourced bamboo and avoid chemical finishes.

If your item displays a made-to-order lead time, these designs are carefully handmade or hand-assembled by our Artisan designers. The lead time of a pre-order design may range between 2-16 weeks, this includes the accumulative time it takes for your order to be processed and for the item to be handmade and/or assembled by the artisan.

If your item displays a pre-order lead time, it is currently out of stock. The month displayed is an approximate date of arrival to our Australian distributor. Please note this date of arrival, is in addition to the delivery time. The lead time will be updated when the item has returned to stock.
