Hīnaki Pendant Light

“Fish traps are called Hinaki by Maori, though often the name is used specifically for an eel trap. They were made from woven vines, some in amazingly beautiful forms. The first light I ever made in 1995 was also shaped like this and called Hinaki. Our kitsets significantly reduce freighting, which is one of our ways of doing what we can to help preserve our beautiful sea and land environments” - David TrubridgeThe Seed System range, by David Trubridge, focuses on creating beautiful fixtures with minimal impact on the environment that inspired them. Made from bamboo plywood and avoiding chemical finishes, these pendant lights are all flatpacked and arrive ready for you to assemble. This Pendant is flat packed for a reduced environmental footprint. Assembly time requires 30 mins. Please see Assembly Video in the specification table.
