Textured Crystal Shell Pendant | Ama

Designed by renowned Václav Mlynář, this elegant pendant refers to a female pearl diver who used to traditionally collect pearls in Japan over centuries. Either opened or closed, this fixture evokes the delicate shells of mussels and is made from meticulously cut glass with a special technique. Within two days, the glass is heated and then gradually melts by its weight into a conical mold. Thanks to this unique design, the pendant will cast a soft play of light representing the pearl from depth of the sea, in living rooms, entrance halls, or commercial spaces. Looking great on its own or as a cluster, the shade is available in clear matte, bronze matte or polished smoke finish.
