The panel is gently bent into a concave plane, creating an architectural backdrop that reflects and diffuses the warmth of the globe in front of it. The piece belongs to the After Hours Collection, where contrasting materials are brought together in a way that feels considered without being rigid.
Each glass globe is handblown, meaning small bubbles, subtle blotches, or tonal shifts within the glass are a natural outcome of the making process rather than a flaw. The brushed stainless steel components may also carry minor surface marks on the reverse, a byproduct of the fabrication method. These characteristics give each piece a degree of individuality. The lamp is freestanding and portable, designed to move easily between spaces without requiring fixed installation.
